Allegation that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad dishonoured Hazrat Fatimah

Argument:

They say that Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad may peace be upon him dishonoured Hazrat Fatimah with the following statement:

Fatimah, radhiyallahu anhaa, in a visionary state, placed my head on her thigh and showed me that
I am from it.
Roohani Khazain Page 213, Vol.18

Rebuttal:

The actual quotation is as follows:-

And then five very dignified, holy, and handsome personages came into my vision. They were the Holy Prophet may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, Hazrat Ali, Hasan, Husain and Fatimah al-Zahra, may Allah be pleased with all of them.  One of them, and I think it was Hazrat Fatimah may Allah be pleased with her, out of great affection and kindness like a loving mother, placed this humble one’s head upon her thigh.
Braheen-e-Ahmadiyya Part 4, pg 503, sub-note 3, Roohani Khazain, Vol I, pg 599

This vision shows the wonderful deep relationship the Promised Messiah had with the family of the Holy Prophet may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.  Furthermore the Promised Messiah may peace be upon him has clearly likened his relationship to Hazrat Fatimah may Allah be pleased with her with that of mother and son.

It is clear that the Promised Messiah may peace be upon him has not written anything inappropriate or insulting with relation to Hazrat Fatimah.  It is clearly written that this was a vision and not reality and is a show of the love and affection that Hazrat Fatimah showed towards the Promised Messiah may peace be upon him was that of a loving mother and the feelings of the Promised Messiah may peace be upon him was those of a son.

Everyone understands that the relationship of mother and son is a very pure, wholesome and loving one.  For a son to place his head in the lap of his mother is not inappropriate in the least, instead shows the loving bond between the two.

Furthermore, in the vision, the Holy Prophet may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, Hazrat Ali, Hasan and Husain were also present and did not raise any objections.  Therefore this was a vision which was honouring the Promised Messiah, not dishonouring Hazrat Fatimah may Allah be pleased with her.
